Kaleidoscope FRIENDraiser a blazing success!

Kaleidoscope welcomed over 100 guests at last night’s Spark at Connection Event at Chicago’s Ignite Glass Studio. Joined by both new and familiar friends, community partners, generous sponsors, donors, and young artists the night was dedicated to learning about the importance of forming and maintaining relationships among Kaleidoscope’s youth, families and communities. Kaleidoscope Executive Director Kathy Grzelak and Board Member Jeff Hellinga spoke to guests about the importance of generating stability and providing opportunity by forming relationships with the organization. Kaleidoscope youth reflected these sentiments by sharing their own touching stories of their involvement with the agency. Ignite Glass Manager of Educational Programs Tracy Kirchmann shared a glass blowing demonstration for guests, and discussed the impact of their glass programs for at-risk youth. Kaleidoscope is excited about the continued partnerships with Ignite Glass and all of the supporters who attended the event. Guests supported the agency by purchasing glass pieces created by both Kaleidoscope youth and professional artists, as well as monetary donations for various program needs.
