When you donate to Kaleidoscope on #GivingTuesday, you support our THRIVE collaborative, our innovative model to support families before a child is ever harmed. Together with Bethel New Life, Mary Crane Center and 15+ community organizations, we are increasing access to resources, investing in marginalized communities, and supporting caregivers and families first, so they can provide for their kids.
Your Impact
Most of the families we serve face multiple challenges: poverty, unmet mental health needs, domestic violence, substance use, housing insecurity and food insecurity. These issues are risk factors on their own, and their compounding effects significantly increase the risk for child abuse and neglect.
But the child welfare system only provides support after a child is harmed, not when the warning signs are there. THRIVE aims to change this. In partnership with Bethel New Life, Mary Crane Center and 15+ community organizations, we are increasing access to resources, investing in marginalized communities.

We’re calling on every one of our supporters – Facebook followers, friends of our board, Chicagoans who care about preventing abuse – to donate today in honor of #GivingTuesday. There are plenty of other ways to get involved with us, too!
