Impact Chicago Awards Kaleidoscope with $100,000 Grant

Impact Grants Chicago awarded Kaleidoscope with a $100,000 grant in support of our efforts to recruit, train, and retain qualified, therapeutic foster families that will provide our children with safe and nurturing homes. Through more foster families, we can provide countless youth with the foundation that every child needs and deserves for a happy and successful life: a safe home, a sense of belonging, and lifelong connections with supportive adults.

This video shows our final presentation to Impact Grants Chicago members on May 28, 2019.  Amanda Carpenter, a foster mom at Kaleidoscope, shared her rewarding experience as a foster parent, while Kathy Grzelak, Kaleidoscope’s Executive Director, described the need for qualified foster families.
