Kaleidoscope anticipates impact of Governor’s proposed spending cuts

Chicago Public Media outlet WBEZ featured Kaleidoscope as one of many organizations concerned with drastic changes to programming as a result of Governor Rauner’s recently proposed budget cuts. The revised budget targets Illinois foster youth ages 18-21 who currently receive services which facilitate independent living as they transition to adulthood. The public radio interview features Kaleidoscope Executive Director Kathy Grzelak discussing the impact to many Kaleidoscope’s youth who are affiliated with this program.


Former Kaleidoscope Youth Kicks Off Child Abuse Prevention Month

On April 1, 2015, former Kaleidoscope and Find Your Future Kid Ryan Henson courageously spoke about his own experiences at the Chicago kick-off to Child Abuse Prevention Month at the James Thompson Center. Kaleidoscope thanks Ryan for continuing to be an advocate for key services within the Illinois Department of Children and Families youth.
