Are tickets/sponsorships deductible as a charitable contribution?
In part. Tickets for all-inclusive admission to the rooftop qualify as a quid pro quo contribution and are sold above the fair market value of $175 - this is the portion that is not tax deductible. Your admission includes all-you-can eat, drink and watch from Wrigleyville's most spectacular rooftop. Kaleidoscope is a 501(c)3 charitable organization: EIN 37-0970799
Can I host customers & prospects at Grand Slam?
Absolutely! A Grand Slam sponsorship is the perfect opportunity to entertain key contacts at a memorable baseball hospitality event without having to rent the entire rooftop. Plus, your company will gain valuable visibility through several branding opportunities (see sponsorship hitting cycle for specific benefits). What’s more, while you host your guests, you and your company will also be supporting the kids of Kaleidoscope, who truly appreciate your help!
What amenities are there?
The rooftop at 1032 West Waveland has elevator access, an air-conditioned, indoor bar area with a live view of Wrigley Field and flat panel tvs. The rooftop itself also has food, a bar, tables, restrooms and bleacher-style seating for watching the game.
Are children welcome?
Yes, children are welcome to Grand Slam, however we are unable to provide discounts to youth. This is not an event geared specifically towards children - just baseball fans of all ages!
What if it rains?
In the event of inclement weather, Grand Slam does not rain-out unless the game does. Should the game be postponed, Grand Slam will be rescheduled depending on availability. At anytime prior to the event you may donate your tickets back to Kaleidoscope as a tax deductible charitable contribution.
