Get InvolvedStories that MOVE

May 10, 2018 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm
Kaleidoscope 1901 W. Carroll

THANK YOU to everyone who made Stories that MOVE our most successful event ever! Together, we raised more than $90,000 for our programs to help children, youth and families heal from abuse and neglect in Chicago. Supporters celebrated our 45th anniversary and milestones along the way, including our groundbreaking wraparound service model and all of our unique programs to empower youth to build families and community.

The event included moving stories from four of our youth, updates on our work and our bright vision for the future. Guests enjoyed a happy hour, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction.

2017 Event: Stories that SPARK

On May 18, 2017, hundreds of supporters joined Kaleidoscope for Stories that SPARK at Ignite Studios. In all, the event raised more than $50,000 for our programs and services to help children, youth and families healing from abuse and neglect! Young people shared how Kaleidoscope and supporters make a difference in their lives, and we debuted our new video series.

About Kaleidoscope

Founded in 1973, Kaleidoscope is a non-profit child welfare agency in Chicago. Each year, we serve more than 600 young people – ranging in age from birth to 21 – who are healing from trauma. Most of our clients have experienced neglect or abuse, and many have also been exposed to substance abuse, extreme poverty and other concerns. As a result of these traumatic events, our clients have specialized mental health, behavioral, medical and/or pregnancy and parenting needs. Through our services, we ensure their safety, assist them in creating a stable support system, and help them overcome trauma to lead healthy, happy lives. Learn more about our services.
